“Retreat for the Creative Soul” lies on 67 acres of beauty.
Nesting between the breath taking mountain range of Mount Glorious and Ocean View. We are only 40minutes from Brisbane CBD and 20minutes from major highways to the Sunshine and the Gold Coast. This place is easy to get to, but very hard to leave.

Come and spend a weekend with me and it will be like you visited an old friend. Any craft or art group will find this place unforgettable.
The property is surrounded by sloping green hills, bushland and mountains. The workroom and the verandas overlook this amazing river like dam, so you will be sharing your stay with plenty of wildlife, like wallabies, kangaroos, koalas and many different birds. 

Accommodation caters for ten adults in comfortable 3 x twin shares, 1 x spacious “three shares” with walk in wardrobe and 1 x single (just incase someone really wants to stay alone ) set up. Minimum 2 nights stay. You can book with or without meals. Coffee and tea on tap.

If you are a tutor the workroom can be hired without accommodation for one or more days.

The workroom offers a spacious set up for 12 -15 people with views hard to look away from, plenty of light, great outdoor area and if you are a quilter like me, heaps of gadgets, tools, products etc… to try out.
There is a good size designer wall to display your progress, huge pressing table which serves as a cutting table as well, light boxes, projector…. and the list goes on. 

You can even have your quilt longarm quilted while you are enjoying your weekend.
Bertha (Statler Gammil longarm machine) will take care of your quilt, offering thousands of beautiful quilting designs to choose from.
You can be part of it, experience the thrill of being present maybe even touch a few buttons, or just leave it to the professional ( that would be me ).

You will have the opportunity to shop for quilting goodies inhouse or there are things to buy five minutes down the road in beautiful Dayboro or in gorgeous Samford, just 15 minutes up the road.

I don’t know how a weekend will be enough for everything, maybe you will have to come back again and then you really will be visiting an old friend
